don't include okra anymore. and we threw out half a bag of spinach

The Saturday Email

Done — okra is off all future menus. Spinach waste noted (~$2.30): next week it's scheduled earlier so it gets used first.

Rifah prepping the week's meals into containers in her kitchen

Why this exists

It started with wilted spinach.

Hi, I'm Rifah. Two busy careers, office days, a husband with his own tastes, and the same question arriving every evening like clockwork: what's for dinner?

Our fridge was full of good intentions. Vegetables bought with big plans on Saturday, thrown out with guilt on Friday. Grocery runs that somehow always crept past what we meant to spend. And when health goals entered our kitchen, winging it stopped being an option — every meal suddenly had to count.

So one weekend I built us a system: every Saturday night, one email. The week's meals, one shopping list, and exactly what to prep on Sunday. We cook once, with music on, and then we just… live. Our spend settled under budget. The bin stayed empty. The 6pm question disappeared.

Friends kept asking for it. So now it can plan your week too — and I still use it for my own kitchen, every single Saturday.

Questions

Fair asks.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The entire product lives in your inbox. If you can read an email and reply to it, you already know how to use everything.

Does it have to be Saturday?

No — that's just how it started in our kitchen. Pick any batch-cooking day and any arrival day and time for your plan email during setup. Wednesday prepper who wants the plan Tuesday at 7am? Done.

Can it work with my calorie or health goals?

Yes — you can optionally share a goal (lose, maintain, build), a calorie target, and health considerations like insulin resistance or high blood pressure, and portions and recipes are tuned accordingly. It's entirely optional, stored privately, never shared, and you can erase it anytime by replying "forget my health info". Our plans are general guidance, not medical advice — for medical conditions, follow your doctor or dietitian.

How do I cancel?

Every email we send has a cancel link in the footer. One click takes you to a self-serve portal — cancel or pause instantly, no phone call, no "are you sure" maze. You keep access until the end of your billing period.

We have allergies and foods we hate. Can it cope?

Yes — allergies and never-include foods are part of your 5-minute setup and are respected in every plan. Changed your mind later? Just reply "no more mushrooms" and it's remembered forever.

What happens to my receipt photos?

They're read once to log your purchases and prices, then permanently deleted. We store the grocery lines, never the photo. Your data is never sold or shared — see the privacy policy below.

Does it work with my supermarket?

Any store works. Built in Australia, so price estimates are tuned to Australian supermarkets and local grocers — and it learns your actual local prices from your receipts.

What if we go on holiday?

Reply "pause" and the emails stop until you say "resume". You're not charged for paused weeks on annual plans, and monthly subscribers can pause billing from the portal.

What if I don't like a suggested meal?

Reply "swap Tuesday's dinner" and you'll get an alternative that still fits your budget and shopping list. Dislikes get remembered, so the plans keep getting more "you".
